It’s going to be alright. Hey, it’s Wednesday and you’re alive, reading this. It’s good to see you. You look great. I hope you’re well. You’re probably not. There’s something going on. Whether it’s big or little, it’s bugging you. You’re thinking about it way too much. I promise. Your sleep is crap because you’re thinking about it. You leave your shower feeling less clean because you just thought through an entire shampoo and conditioning cycle thinking about it. Look at me. Hello? Eyeballs. Right. Here.
It’s going to be fine. You aren’t the only one constantly thinking about an issue. If you take a minute to look around – while you’re driving, around your office, out running errands…go ahead…Look. All of those people are missing something, have lost something, are looking for something, have fought, have hurt, are hurt, have cried, have screamed, have felt.
There is an answer for what you’re feeling, thinking and going through. The thing you’re looking for is out there. The thing you lost isn’t what you think you lost. You didn’t lose a job, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend/friend, money, house, car, popularity…you lost perspective. Your Brain Train got derailed….and it’s skittering down life’s track.
How you picture things and your relationship to them in your mind is of the utmost importance whether your Brain Train is on or off the track.
Perspective is something we have to work to maintain. Life doesn’t pause or wait for you to catch up, you have to identify the tempo and hop on.
Lessons should be learned and perspective should be polished and honed until you have an accurate picture of yourself and how/where you fit in the universe. You can adjust your perspective or image whenever you want. Just look at something differently. It aids the process to have friends who have a ton of life experiences and varied opinions. You don’t need to change your perspective, but exposing yourself to other schools of thought will help in making you a more well-rounded person.
I love you and you’re worth it.
