I’m writing you as a senior with a 12 credits until I become a BS’er of Communication.
I really do not like school. I’m ready to be done so I can figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
This semester I’m taking a public speaking class and a math class. My online public speaking class is requiring me to record speeches and submit them to the instructor. I’m not sure if this is a peer-graded assignment or just instructor, but I’m willing to post them here if you guys want to see them.
Don’t feel obligated to give a crap…but I’m going to post them anyway.
I’m skeptical about getting a civilian job. Not because I’m not marketable or lack excitement for becoming employed in the civilian sector. I’m sure my 10yrs of Public Affairs experience in the Marine Corps will set me up for success, but I’m sure there are things I’m going to miss about being in uniform.
I think my passion of the affairs of the public will push me to wondrous heights of success.
I’m at work listening to You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes and he’s interviewing Jenny Slate.
