Greetings one and all,
I’m back from my travels. I was abroad for work, sans internet that was worth a crap. I will post about my travels to Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Turkey. Not, however, before I post about Google +.
Google +. Being an internet communicator whenever a new medium surfaces, I throw myself on it as if it were a grenade, with a completely unabashed selflessness.
If high school sucked for you, you probably aren’t going to like Google+.
It’s a pretty straight forward format- Comment box, you can post photos, statuses, add friends, check into places etc. It’s pretty much the same as Facebook but not as popular and provided by the best search engine ever conceived.
I think Facebook shot itself in the foot. The biggest thing it has going is that everyone knows how to use it. But, that isn’t the case – because every two weeks they change something, or now everyone can see your pictures, people can access your bank account or some other invasive privacy restriction becomes voluntary and if you don’t “click it” everyone can see your biz.
Google+ may be able to capitalize on this. People might just want to learn a new social media that won’t change every two weeks and hopefully involuntarily keep our privates, private.
I’m on Google+. I like it. The biggest reason I like it is that Mark Zuckerberg isn’t involved. He’s way too douchey for my taste.
It’s my actual profile using my actual name, address, personal info. I’m not going to give it out here. But if I know you, shoot me an email and we’ll Google+ it up.
